We have been producing check valves and developing PTFE lined butterfly valves in conjunction with the foremost PTFE compound producers since the 1980's. It is from these deep roots that our expertise as a valve manufacturer has grown.

The ChemBall | CSB PFA Lined Ball Valve - the newest product in our portfolio - has been designed from the ground up, combining innovative ideas with the requirements of our customers. With its patented TrueFloat® technology, the resulting valve copes easily with the most demanding corrosive applications.

Technical knowledge, materials and production methods are continually evolving, so product development at ChemValve-Schmid is never complete. This is best illustrated by our ChemFlyer | CST PTFE Lined Butterfly Valve, where each component has been reviewed and improved over the course of time. This continual improvement process differentiates us from larger, finance-oriented competitors.

An advanced barcode system simplifies the traceability of each part through our factory. Our production processes are continually optimised and extended through the customisation of production techniques and tools.

We have been developing our "Insourcing, not Outsourcing" philosophy for decades, allowing us to be flexible and independent from complex supply chains. An example of this is the development of our own transfer moulding PFA presses, which enable modern, electronically controlled lining of PFA parts.
