Company Concept


ChemValve-Schmid AG resulted from the merger of ConVey-Schmid AG which was founded in 1993 and ChemValve AG from Stäfa (canton Zurich). The purpose of the company based in Welschenrohr contains the development and production of fittings, valves, systems of the process and environmental technology of every kind. These products are used in the environment technology, process engineering, chemistry, food and energy producing industry.
The three most important product lines are:

• Non-Return Valves, Check Valves and Double Disc Check Valves,

• PTFE lined Butterfly Valves

• Special Valves

Our product portfolio is sold and commercialized worldwide over our long-standing partners (country representation) in approx. 30 countries.

Additionally ChemValve-Schmid AG manufactures Hydraulic Components and specializes in machining special materials like titanium, hastelloy (nickel alloys) and teflon (PTFE).
Most of the roughly 20 employees are 10 up to 25 years experienced with valve production. The workforce is supported by a modern EDP and CAD system as well as by modern CNCmachines. Our high quality standard concerning to our services and products are manufactured on a area of 1200 m2 in our own industry facilities.

Thanks to our well trained, flexibel and motivated employees, who are acting with responibility and quality-consciousness, we are in the position to fulfil our tasks on schedule, with a high standard of professional competence and we satisfy the customers requirements.
